JULY 6, 2026 - At the Village Council Meeting, the Village voted to form the Disincorporation Commission, which will spend about a year forming a plan for Village and Township residents to vote on. 

On the left is the memorandum from the Village's attorney regarding the two ways the Village Council could move forward after the dissolution petition was submitted. Section III, Subsection A lays out the Disincorporation Commission, and will be the blueprint for the Commission's plan.
